FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Spanish I (High School Level)

Spanish instruction emphasizes communicative proficiency and an understanding of the Hispanic culture. The course addresses and integrates all four language strands: speaking, writing, reading, and listening. Students learn to communicate in real-world situations and about topics that are relevant.

Students also develop an awareness of perspectives, practices, and products of Spanish-speaking cultures.
